Information & Support for Consumers

Whether you’re planning ahead, arranging services for a loved one, or looking for information about funeral and cremation services in Saskatchewan, we’re here to help.

The Funeral and Cremation Services Council of Saskatchewan (FCSCS) regulates licensed funeral service providers and works to protect the public by promoting professional, ethical, and accountable funeral and cremation services across the province.

How Can We Help?

Find the information and resources you need to make informed decisions and understand your options.

About Consumer Protection

One of the Council’s primary responsibilities is protecting the public by ensuring funeral service professionals meet the standards established under Saskatchewan legislation.

We license funeral directors, embalmers, salespeople, funeral homes, crematoriums, and transfer services while promoting fairness, transparency, and accountability throughout the profession.

Whether you’re planning ahead or making arrangements during a difficult time, our goal is to help you access reliable information and understand your rights as a consumer.
